Meaning of death

As I lay dying

As I lay dying the death
worthy of her
star glittered eyes
Signalling
How rubbish I am
While those rubified lips
Revealing the cherished treasure
As briefly opened
Silk purse closed
guarding secrets
shrewd. and sudden
So then?
Who won't prefer
The death of rubbishness?
