Listen to a voice

Iranian Poet Farideh Hassanzadeh

A volcanic sleep

I may be a poet
Assigned to sing songs
For distracting pains
Of bleeding wounds
And bruises caused
By persons and time;
None to scream, proclaim
Condemn and declare
As my appointed ancestors did.
May be my armory dumps
Guitars now.
But never assume
Vulcanoes are extinct..
They sleep.
